Little Sky Necklace / / A Luscious blue Kyanite set in a beautifully simple hand formed molten gold leaf bezel. Suspended on an oxidized brass toned vintage chain. This particular Brazilian Kyanite is considered to be an "exotic" gemstone because it is not often used in jewelry. This specimen is iridescent blue and has incredible brilliance and light reflection.

Hand sculpted/ detailed (with an industrial strength Epoxy clay, in between ceramic and plastic in terms of strength and durability) and hand painted with leaf paints and various acrylics. The clear resin coating gives a wet molten finish. 

These clay pendants are highly durable and extremely light weight, but it is suggested that you treat them with relative care. To maintain the piece for years, please avoid wearing the jewelry in water.
